Audioframes - Requiem for My Father EP
Audioframes makes his debut on Familia with two emotive, heartfelt techno tracks.
The first, 'Ballerina', is dedicated to the artist's Mother, once a professional dancer and the inspiration for the track's title. Two fluttering synth lines chase above the relentless kick drum and metallic high hats, holding the tension throughout.
The EP's title track follows, 'Requiem for My Father', paying homage to the life of a musician and the Producer's late Father. The tribal percussion makes way for a beckoning melody which then takes centre stage. The arpeggio we first heard at the start of the piece winds its way back to the fore. All the elements are then brought back together for the track's crescendo.
The label is honoured to have this release as part of its stable.
