Lord Of The Minds EP comes to Mindshake from 2 newcomers who call themselves Luixar KL. Arguably the most eclectic release to date, this hot to trot Spanish duo also runs one of the most successful Minimal and Deep Tech labels on the planet, Low Groove Records.
If you haven't experienced the unique, super funky and dancefloor-friendly style that Luixar KL brings, don't hesitate. The title track comes correct with the essence of Minimal. Rolling bassline, poppy percussion and fluctuating atmospheres.
Shakes Speare follows in the same vein, but perhaps with a bit more oomph. An uber-funky bassline accompanied by tasteful percussion and dynamic fills keep it a perfect floor-friendly tune.
The funk does not stop with Woolpit. Killer organic-sounding percussion with an ode to '90s hip-hop round out this minimal head snapper.
It's Okudart where the EP makes a tasteful turn for a serious eclectic funk vibe. From 70s jazz flutes to upright bass and guitar riffs, we're sure you haven't heard tech house like this before. It's Mindshake meets James Brown., defined.
