Sinisa Tamamovic’s Hermosa EP captures two very different but equally personal studio moments, tied together by a strong sense of movement and tactility.
The title track Hermosa leans into a warm, rolling groove shaped by time spent on the Costa Rican coast, where the humidity, ocean air and constant motion seem to seep directly into its fluid low-end and tightly coiled percussion, giving it a forward driving energy that feels both loose and precise at once.
In contrast, You And Me strips things back to a more immediate, live-driven process, built from hands-on jams with Roland machines and modular synth work, where the drums carry a raw, breathing quality and the stretched, self-recorded vocal becomes less a focal point and more a textural element woven into the track’s evolving structure, resulting in something intimate, slightly unpredictable and distinctly human, "that captures the spontaneity of the machines and the moment it was created", says Tamamovic.
