David Lowe ft. Llinares, Javi Miramontes - Now You Do EP
Paco Osuna's record label, Mindshake, drops a stripped-back tech house EP by David Lowe featuring Llinares and Javi Miramontes, which has flowing percussion and rolling basslines.
Based in the UK, David Lowe is making his debut on Mindshake, following music on other labels ranging from SK Recordings, to his own Tainted Records. He is a London-based DJ and producer whose upbeat style is tailor-made for the dance floor.
Two of the tracks are solo productions from David Lowe, but he has also collaborated separately with Llinares and Javi Miramontes.
Llinares is a French artist whose dark and minimal style has been released by Detlef's Issues and SOSA's COCO. Javi Miramontes in an Argentinian artist who has previously collaborated with David Lowe to release a track via the MUSE record label, but has also featured solo music on labels such as 303Lovers.
David Lowe's music is a regular feature in Paco Osuna's DJ sets, and he has also been supported by others ranging from Solardo to Jamie Jones.
"Now You Do" is first of the four tracks, it opens the EP with an infectious bassline and hip hop vocals layered over a framework of hypnotic percussion. The other three tracks follow the same winning formula. "Breaking Out" is a solo track that utilises an acid bassline, and "Midnight," made in collaboration with Llinares, is a percussive track with soulful vocals. "Breathe," produced alongside Javi Miramontes, is a trippy cut that closes the EP with sensual vocal tones.
