RSquared - Listen Baby EP
Paco Osuna's record label, Mindshake, welcomes the return of RSquared, who drops a new tech house EP with party starting grooves.
RSquared are a duo of UK artists releasing on Mindshake for the second time, and it features three original tracks that combine upbeat percussion with infectious vocals and chunky basslines. They have also featured music on other influential record labels including Knee Deep In Sound, Circus Records and Sola.
Ryan and Rory are the duo behind RSquared, and they are skilled DJs who know how to rock a dance floor. Regularly playing at many of London's best underground events, their music channels their innate ability to captivate an audience.
"Listen Baby" opens the release with a rolling bassline, flowing congas, and dramatic snare hits, which form a foundation for the track's namesake vocal hook. "Shake Dat Ass" is a percussive track with a pulsating acid bassline and sleazy vocal sample. "Consquences" closes the release with hip hop style vocals layered over vigorous percussion and a deep bassline.
