Riaz Dhanani, Jenny C - Dutchie EP
Paco Osuna's record label Mindshake presents a collaborative tech house EP by Riaz Dhanani and JENNY C.
This is Riaz Dhanani's third time working with Mindshake, and he's also featured on other influential record labels such as Sola, elrow Music and Knee Deep In Sound.
JENNY C is making her Mindshake debut with the three collaborative tracks on this release, and she has previously released solo music via labels such as Techaway, Not For Me and Invited Records.
Both of these UK based artists share an upbeat style with flowing percussion and rolling basslines forming a framework for infectious vocal hooks.
"Dutchie" opens the release with a stripped back groove underpinned by a rubbery bassline that lays a foundation for shuffling percussion and hip hop style vocals. "Gimmy Some" has an acid bassline and jackin' percussion layered with captivating vocals. "Tina" closes out the release with Spanish vocal snippets and rhythmic vocal textures intertwining with vigorous percussion.
