Angel Heredia - El Buchin EP
Paco Osuna's record label, Mindshake, welcomes the return of Angel Heredia who drops a percussive tech house release with upbeat energy.
Angel Heredia is known for his invigorating style with flowing drum rhythms, catchy vocals and rolling basslines. This is his second solo release for Mindshake, in addition to the collaborative release he made for the imprint alongside Mendo. Angel Heredia has also featured his music on other respected record labels such as Rawthentic, Flashmob Records, Clarisse Records and Toolroom.
Living in Spain, Angel Heredia is also a talented DJ who plays regularly at some of the country's most prestigious nightclubs. The music he makes is regularly supported by Paco Osuna, and the tracks on this EP have been extensively road-tested in his DJ sets.
"El Buchín" opens the release with tribal percussion underpinning uplifting soulful vocals to create a feel-good vibe. Next up, "Padura" has hypnotic percussion and hip hop style Spanish MC vocals layered over a deep bassline. "Sexyback" is a cheeky rework of the Justin Timberlake classic, which has been transformed into a party-starting tech house track.
