Paco Osuna's record label, Mindshake presents a chunky and funky tech house EP by WeMart.
WeMart is a Spanish artist making his debut on Mindshake following successful releases on other respected imprints such as Flashmob Records, Snatch!, and Be One Records. Known for his upbeat blend of shuffling percussion and infectious basslines, WeMart's music is regularly supported in the DJ sets of people ranging from Matthias Tanzmann to Fedde Le Grand.
One of the people who regularly supports WeMart is Paco Osuna and all four of the tracks on this EP have been extensively road-tested in Paco's club sets and festival shows.
"Induction" opens the release with a thickset bassline and punch of the kickdrum, which lays a foundation for hip hop style vocals and rubbery synth stabs. "My Way" lets the percussion take centre stage with heavy snare hits and congas providing a framework for soulful vocals. "Pull Up The Poor" has upbeat percussion rhythms and a rolling bassline that create a hypnotic flow, while chopped-up vocals create a trippy vibe. "You See" has an uplifting energy, and closes out the release with a chunky groove led by a distinctive vocal.
