Latmun & Iglesias - Duffman EP
Paco Osuna's record label Mindshake welcomes a groove-heavy house music release by Iglesias and Latmun.
Latmun and Iglesias have previously collaborated on the likes of Jamie Jones' Hottrax and Sola, but each is also a successful solo artist.
Iglesias is a Spanish artist returning to Mindshake after the success of his recent 'Dance To My Drums' EP. He has also featured his stripped-back and percussive style on other imprints including Moon Harbour, Toolroom and Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars.
Making his debut on Mindshake, Latmun joins the imprint following high-profile releases on Hot Creations, Kaluki Musik, Relief and Steve Lawler's VIVa MUSiC. Based in the UK, he is also a popular DJ who regularly plays at events ranging from Manchester's Warehouse Project to Ibiza's DC-10. "Duffman" is an '80s inspired track that samples a classic and fuses it with techy percussion and an infectious bassline."In The Mood" has a sub-heavy bassline and dark atmosphere layered with flowing percussion and a funky vocal sample with hip hop undertones.
