Paco Osuna's record label Mindshake welcomes a house focused EP from UK artist Ben Sterling.
Based in London, Ben Sterling is a talented DJ and accomplished producer who is well-known for his groove-laden tracks on labels ranging from Jamie Jones' Hot Creations to Eats Everything's Edible.
After starting his career as a Ministry of Sound resident when he was only 18, Ben Sterling has since travelled the world to play clubs such as DC10 in Ibiza and large events like The BPM Festival in Central America.
Ben Sterling has proven himself to be one of house music's most exciting young artists with music often championed by the likes of Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers and Patrick Topping.
"Durh Brain" opens the release with its stripped back style, which fuses a rubbery acid-line with captivating vocal phrases and hypnotising rhythms. "Peeps in De Back" is another acid-tinged track with a jackin' groove and shuffling hi-hats, plus hip hop influenced vocal samples. "Whats The News" closes out the EP with its breakbeat percussion loop and timeless old school flavour.
