Manu Gonzalez - I Want EP
Paco Osuna presents a new house focused EP on his label Mindhsake from Manu Gonzalez that also features a remix from Project00, which is the shared alias of Paco Osuna and Fer BR.
Manu Gonzalez is one of Ibiza’s homegrown talents, who after years of working in the island’s world-famous record shop Discos Delta, started getting requests to play at many of Ibiza’s most prestigious clubs. Quickly earning a reputation as a talented DJ who had a 6th sense for reading the dance floor, he is now booked to play sets all over the world.
Equally talented in the studio, Manu Gonzalez along with previously featuring on Mindshake has produced tracks and remixes for labels like Knee Deep In Sound, Moon Harbour and Nervous Records.
Project00 has so far been exclusive to Mindshake, but as solo artists Paco Osuna and Fer BR have released on influential labels ranging from Richie Hawtin’s Minus to Claude VonStroke's DIRTYBIRD and Adam Beyer's Truesoul.
"I Want" opens the release with its seductive vocals and party starting bassline combined with the jackin' groove of chunky percussion. "Famous" is darker and more understated with grainy vocal samples adding flavour to the jazzy melodies and infections bassline. Project00 close out the release with their tech-inspired version of I Want that adds extra intensity by adding additional percussion and looped synth stabs.
